A curated project set featuring 3 skeins of Silk Linen Sport in Caviar.

Lightweight, breathable, and softly textured, Silk Linen Sport is especially beautiful for warm-weather garments and layering pieces. This set would work wonderfully for a tee like Joni by Natasja Hornby, or the Mala Top by Anna Daku.

This base is being retired, and once these sets are gone, they will not be restocked.

Details:
• 4 skeins Silk Linen Sport
• Colourway: Caviar
• Suggested for lightweight tees and garments
• Soft drape with breathable linen texture
• Final release of this yarn base

Please note:
Due to the linen/ flax fibres in this yarn, Caviar dyes up quite differently than on BFL yarns or Mohair Silk Lace; we think it's lovely!

Each set is one of a kind and ready for your next summer cast-on!

Washing and Care

Gently hand wash in cool water using a gentle product specifically made for washing woollens, such as Eucalan. Avoid heat and aggitation, and do not wash or soak your project for more than 15 minutes (even for blocking). Lay flat to dry.

While every effort is made to ensure colour consistency, due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, there will be some variation of the colours between batches, and from skein to skein even when dyed in the same pan. If making a garment with more than one skein, it is recommended to alternate your skeins to help blend out the differences from skein to skein.

Each skein is dyed using professional grade acid dyes and food grade citric acid. Following dyeing, yarn is thoroughly washed, and hung to dry. Some slight colour bleeding may still occur, especially in highly saturated colours. If you are planning a colorwork project, making and wet blocking a swatch prior to starting your project is recommended. Color catchers are amazing for sucking up excess dye, and adding a little bit of white vinegar or citric acid into your wash water can help dyes stay put. Steam blocking is another option that minimizes the risk of bleeding.

The acid dyes used to colour your yarn are considered to have good light-fastness, however, please store your yarn and finished projects out of direct sunlight.
