BFL Fingering

BFL Fingering is one of my favourite yarn bases for garments. Bluefaced Leicester creates fabric with beautiful drape, excellent stitch definition, pill-resistance, and durability that softens and improves with wear — perfect for sweaters, shawls, and heirloom knits.

This fibre has a naturally warm tone and subtle sheen that gives dyed colourways depth and richness. Because the yarn is untreated (non-superwash), colours blend in a soft, watercolour-like way, creating gentle variation rather than crisp speckles.
