Sock Tube Cranking Service | ADD ON Fingering Weight

Ever wish you could make socks faster? Sock tubes may be just the ticket for you!

Add on this service, and I will crank your skein of fingering weight/sock yarn into a long tube that's ready for you to add afterthought heels, toes and cuffs.

Available Stitch Counts:

60 stitches (approx. 7.5" circumference)

Things to know:

• This is a service offered for fingering weight sock yarns purchased from Brine Dyeworks. Please add one service for each skein of sock yarn that you'd like cranked.

• You are purchasing an unfinished sock tube, NOT a finished pair of socks.

• Please allow extra time for your order to ship if you've added this option (1-2 weeks; will likely be faster but depends on sock tube queue)

• Waste yarn will be knit onto either end of your sock tube, with the option of adding some in the middle. If all of the skein is being cranked and you are using contrast yarn for heels, toes, and cuffs, you should be able to get one very long pair of socks, or two pairs of shorter socks from one tube.

• Your sock tube's gauge will be approximately 8 stitches per inch, however this can vary greatly depending on yarn thickness and the tension required to get a nice tube. Gauge and circumference is not guaranteed. Tube length is variable, however, 100g of 75/25 Merino Sock yields a tube approximately 48" long.
