Brûlée Misfit on Merino DK 8 Ply
Misfits are skeins that don't quite fit the colorway, but are equally as lovely.
Brûlée features rich, coppery, caramelized sugar tones with darker browns and speckling. This skein had an unintentional bind, resulting in a band of "reverse speckles", a bit of white where the dye could not reach the yarn. These bits will knit up as a stitch or two of white.
The nature of hand-dyed yarn is that each and every skein is unique even if dyed in the same pan. If you are making a project using multiple skeins of the same colorway, alternating skeins is recommended.
I do not retouch or alter my photos in any way. Please note that different screens can make colors appear differently than they do in real life.
